| Internet Access via ADSL | |

ADSL is a new technology that allows fast data rates to be piggy backed on to an existing analogue line. This has allowed BT to offer a fast data service at a much more reasonable price than traditional leased lines. A number of internet service providers are offering internet access using ADSL technology. They can arrange for an ADSL connection for a permanent link to your home or your office. Reference Point uses AAISP.net, providing a fast reliable ADSL internet service for just £29.79 per month. Private networks via ADSL BT provides ADSL as a service allowing a central point (e.g. head office) to be connected to many points around the UK (e.g. branch offices). Using ADSL can be a very cost effective way to set up a private network but for smaller, low bandwidth applications like Reference Point EPoS you can simply use a number of standard ADSL connections. |
