- Html or plain text e-newsletters highlighting new products or special offers can easily be
mass-emailed to customers or site visitors who have chosen to subscribe, providing a potentially instant sales boost.
- Lists of customers who have purchased specific items at specific times may be created so, for example, if you want to offer a guaranteed part exchange value to all customers who purchased a 21" colour TV from you between 5 and 6 years ago, an
email or letter may be sent to that effect - just to those customers.
- Purchasers within specific product groups may also be targeted, so if you'd like to invite all previous purchasers of 'quality' Hi-fi equipment to a wine & cheese evening promoting Dolby Prologic products this can be achieved quickly and easily.
- The database can also produce lists of customers within a specific spend range, so to encourage extra spend from recent purchasers you could extract all customers that have spent at least £200 during the last 6 months and promise an extra 5% discount for purchases made by the end of this month.
- Purchasers of sale items bought at a low margin can be specifically
targeted or excluded.
